Joan Heemskerk

Joan Heemskerk (*1968, Kaatsheuvel) studied Photography at St. Joost Academie in Breda before attending CADRE, the electronic arts laboratory at San Jose State University in California. In 1994 she started working together with Dirk Paesmans. Together they form the artist collective JODI, known for its pioneering net-based artworks.
