Vanessa Ramos-Velasquez

Vanessa Ramos-Velasquez is an interdisciplinary artist from Brazil, who has acquired a diverse background along her various global residencies due to an Antropophagic hunger to consume the world. She was a Fulbright Scholar at The University of Kansas, USA. Her work has been presented at The Chelsea Art Museum (New York), Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, at nightclubs in Rio de Janeiro, New York, Berlin and Beijing, and on the streets. As a cultural instigator, her Anthropophagic Re-Manifesto and lecture was first presented at ISEA2010/RUHR.
