In Always the Future over six decades of East and West German election slogans vie for attention. The montage documents in three synchronised channels the varied positioning of political argumentation in Germany. Timelessly unspecific and predictably repetitive, it is the lacking selectivity of the slogans that allows a rhythmical all-German running text to emerge, a precise choreography of a remote-controlled merry-dance of the undead.
