Larissa Sansour

Sansour was born 1973 in Jerusalem. She studied Fine Art in Copenhagen, London and New York, and earned her MA from New York University. She lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sansour’s work has been exhibited worldwide in galleries and museums as well as film festivals. Her most notable shows include the Tate Modern in London and the Arken Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. Her work was shown at last year’s Istanbul Biennial. Her film A Space Exodus has been nominated for the Muhr Awards for short film at the Dubai International Film Festival. Sansour is a curator of several screening programs as well as a frequent lecturer at various institutions. In addition, she works on productions for the independently run artists’ channel TV-TV in Copenhagen.
