In her detailed study Hybridkultur, Yvonne Spielmann suggests a critical concept of hybridity that, in an interdisciplinary view, interrelates media study with cultural study debates. The study argues that hybridity constitutes a contemporary strategy to aesthetically intervene into internationally operating media industries.
