Filming the passageways between Egypt and Gaza is forbidden. Since 2003, the artist decided to secretly document his own travels between Cairo and Rafah. Made from these recordings, Transit reflects the impossibility of movement for Palestinians and transposes, in sharp contrast with what is conveyed in the media, a visual representation of the lived experience at these border crossings.
